Our semi-annual congregational meeting is coming up Sunday, August 18, where members will review and vote on approval of the next fiscal year’s budget and appointments of key leaders. We will have an abbreviated church service on the 18th with the meeting immediately afterward. 

While everyone is welcome to attend the meeting, only current active members may vote. To be eligible to vote as an active member you must complete the new Membership Covenant by Thursday, August 15. (The Membership Covenant can be completed online at www.fbc-everett.org/membership). 

What we’re voting on at this meeting…

Elder Team Members. FBC Elders are appointed for 3-year terms. At the end of an elder's 3-year term, s/he is presented to the congregation for renewal to a new 3-year term. This year, Bryan Blair and Scott Goodman are up for renewal to 3-year terms on the Elder Team. 

Elder Team Officers. The Elder Team is supported by three key officer roles: Chair, Vice-Chair, and Secretary. These roles are elected each fiscal year by congregational vote. The following officers are recommended for reelection for fiscal year 2024-25: Bryan Blair as Chair; Scott Goodman as Vice-Chair; and Carol McKissick as Secretary.
